The preserved Ferns leaves and cornflowers have been lacquered with Hyperion sealer (an environmentally friendly alternative to resin)..

As with all things in nature the leaves will change colour over time. Each type of leaf or petal will age in a unique way, some turn a deep sepia, some a faded pastel, some even turn in to a nebula of different hues. This process can begin over months or years depending on how the board is stored. To delay the change in colours keep away from UV light and humidity.

As it is handmade this board is imperfect owing to irregularities in the wood and Hyperion finish. This lends to a particularly bohemian style and does not effect the functionality of the board.
